One month passed when Tameem came back he was still doing work in Shahid's business. Everything was going fine, Shahid said clearly to leave his business so Tameem was trying to finding a job or setting up his own business.

IN the passing time Shehla got to know about the relationship between Tameem and Pooja. Once Kehkasha revealed that in front of her by mistake, Kehkasha's tongue was slipped, she just said that 'Tameem will become good with you he will forget everything with passing time' but Shehla understand that something was fishy, after insisting many times Kehkasha spit out the hidden truth in front of Shehla which made a wall in her heart for Tameem. I started hating him, but she didn't share about that with anyone.

Tameem also wasn't happy with Shehla...

Shehla had a dominating nature, but Tameem was a Timid man who was scared of his brothers, he was expected that at least his wife would be inferior in front of him but in reality Shehla wasn't inferior but superior than him. No one ever took his advice in business matters or anything else but Within three months of marriage everyone discussed every important thing with Shehla before finalising anything important. Shahid felt jealous with Shehla's dominant nature but still he ask for her opinion before taking any decision for investment in property. Before marriage Tehseen use to handle all the issues related to Tameem's back account but after marriage Shehla took over that responsibility. Everyone was amazed that an eighteen years old childish girl could show her that side too.

Every family member excluding Sayra and Tameem always praise Shehla's intelligence but never in front of her, most of the time Nayla pass that news to Shehla that what her in-laws discussed about her. But when ever anyone praised Shehla's beauty or intelligence there was a person who always felt jealous...

No one else but... Her own husband Tameem....

He always wanted to get praised by his family members but not getting any praising but whenever Shehla got praised by anyone he felt jealous because his family members use to say 'Shehla is opposite to Tameem, he doesn't deserves such a wise girl as his wife' and those words were making the distance increased between those two hearts.

Whenever Anyone praised Shehla, then Tameem insult her in front of others... Once there was a get together in with some relatives were coming from Pakistan they all were saying that Shehla cooks very well but Tameem was planning something else...

"Shehlaaa.." Tameem summoned her but she was in the other corner of hall so due to commotion his voice didn't reach to her.

"Beta jao waha Jo kali si aunty khadi hai na unse kehna itne daat mat dikhao or yaha aa jao"

(Dear go there tell that black aunty that no need to laugh like mads and come here)

Tameem said to a three year old boy but very loudly, many of the guests saw him with wide eyes when he used such a cheep words for his own wife. That's true Shehla had golden and yellowish complexion, she wasn't white like Tameem but her face had a glow which was enough to make her more attractive to everyone.

The three year old boy obeyed innocently and repeated the same words

"Aunty... Waha jo uncle khade hain na unhone kaha hai un kali si aunty se kehna ki itne daat na dikhao or yaha aa jao"

(Aunty that uncle who was standing there is saying me to tell that black aunty that no need to laugh like mads and come here)

Shehla who was standing with Tameem's cousin sisters and some of her other Sister-in-laws looked at the direction of the pointing finger of that innocent boy and Tameem was standing there holding a winning smile on his face.

"Yeh kya badtameezi hai? Apni biwi ke liye koi ese alfaaz istemaal karta hai! Wo bhi mehfil main.. Mehfil ke bhi kuch adaab hote hain"

(How ill-mannered! How can someone use that type of words for his wife! There are some morals and ethics which one has to follow in gatherings)

One of Tameem's cousin sister said to other lady but Shehla felt hurt, that was the first time when she felt that much insulted in a family gathering, that too by her own husband that was most painful thing. Before that Tameem use to call her 'Kali' (black) but only inside the room so she never pay attention as she took that in funny way and call back Tameem 'Local angreez' (local foreigner) but that hurt her pretty hard.

Tameem never praised her beauty, neither she showed that she wanted to be praised by her husband but maybe her heart also desired for the same.... But that day Tameem made a special place in Shehla's heart..

The place which was free from any type of respect towards him...

Shehla didn't express her pain and anger in front of anyone and showed that its the way of Tameem's love as she didn't want to be a topic of discussion for long time. She went to Tameem and asked why he called her.

"Khala Jaan, khalu Jaan aap meri biwi se to mile hi nahi"

(Aunty, uncle you haven't meet with my wife)

Tameem said to relatives who were coming from Pakistan to meet their relatives living in India.

"kisne kaha hum Shehla se nhi mile? Tum to so rahe the hum log to subah hi mil liye the... Ma'sha Allah bohot pyari hai"

(Who said we haven't meet her? You were sleeping but we met her on breakfast table. She is very pretty)

Tameem's aunty said and his blood got a boil

"Rehne dijiye khala Jaan, jhuti tareefe karne ka kya fayda, ye kali kawwi kahani se pyari hai?"

(it's okay aunty, no need do her fake praisings and from which angle this black crow is pretty?)

"Khala Jaan, khalu Jaan Aap log bethiye main kitchen main dekhti hu agar kuch kaam ho to"

(Aunty uncle excuse me, I have to check if there is any work in the kitchen)

Shehla said with a smile but they both witnessed the Tears in Shehla's eyes. She cried out in her room for many hours... She never cried before due to Tameem's behaviour, she always stay strong in every situation but that day her self respect was hurt very miserably which gave her tears. She stopped talking to Tameem uselessly, before that Tameem also didn't talk to her but she always try to held a conversation but that insident made a big difference between two hearts.

One month later.....

Tameem woke up at 12 noon, and found the other side of bed empty as usually because Shehla go downstairs after offering her morning prayer, where Mrs. Mirza use to wait for her with a cup of tea. She must be the first mother-in-law who made tea for her Daughter-in-law with so much love. When whole family use to sleep at that time Shehla and Mrs. Mirza talk to each other, Mrs. Mirza use to narrate her the incidents of her life to Shehla...

But that day was totally different....

After taking shower Tameem went down stairs, he had massive headache because he had a massive argument with Shehla, last night.

"Shehla chai do mujhe (give me tea)" He yelled with anger while searching for something in the chest of drawers in his mother's room.

"What are searching for?" Mrs. Mirza asked to her son.

"Dawai... Ek to wese hi meri zindagi azab se kam nahi thi upar se Is ladki se shadi karke bachi kuchi barbaad ho gai"

(My medicine! My life was already a mess in itself but now after marriage its totally spoiled)

Tameem said angrily.

"Kaha Mar gayi ye manhus? Chai banane main itni deer lagti hai?!"

(Where is that jinx? Is this take so much time to make tea?!)

Tameem asked his mother out of frustration first said not to talk say anything like that but then she asked about shehla as she didn't come downstairs after her morning prayer. That day everyone was thinking that Shehla was sleeping for late hours but in reality Shehla wasn't in home. Before anyone could discuss anything about Shehla Tehseen came to his mother and told her that Nayla was pregnant, that good news made the environment happy and for a couple of hour everyone forgot about Shehla but then the phone started ringing and Aaqil received the call.

"Hello, who is this?" Aaqil asked.

"Shehla's Father..."

"Kheriyat Khan sahab?" Aaqil asked

(Is everything okay Mr. Khan)

"kheriyat puch rahe hain aap? Aa kar dekhiye meri beti ka haal, or apne bhai se puchhiye ki meri beti ki galti kya hai jo usne ye haal banaya hai meri beti ka... Aaj tak main kuch nahi bola pehle wo itne din gayab tha, phir aapne kaha tha uska apna business hai, shadi ke baad pta chala ki woh to apne bhai ke business main sirf ek nookri karta hai.. Main tab bhi kuch nhi bola.. Tameem ko jab bhi humne dawat par bulaya hamesha usne dusre mehmano ke Saamne hamari bezzati kari hai, lekin main kuch nhi bola kyuki mujhe lag raha tha meri beti to khush hai magar aaj to had paar Kardi aapke bhai ne... Aa kar dekhiye kya haal kra hai aapke bhai ne meri beti ka"

(You are asking is everything fine or not! Come home and see the condition of my daughter, and ask your brother that what is the mistake of my daughter for that he made her condition like this! I never said anything till now... First he was missing for two months after marriage, then your said before the marriage that he owns his own business but after that we got to know that he only do service in his brother's business, but I never said anything... Whenever we invited Tameem for feast Everytime he played with our reputation in front of other guests, but I never said anything as I was thinking that my daughter is living a happy life, but today your brother crossed every limit. Come to my home and see the condition of my daughter which your brother has made.)

"Khan sahab kuch to baiye hua kya hai?"

(Mr. Khan at least tell me what's the matter)

Aaqil asked.

"Come home." Saying that Mr. Khan disconnected the call.

Shehla's right eyes was not opening as that was swelled due to the slap she got last night from Tameem. He slapped her with back of his fingers, and the silver ring with embedded topaz stone hit directly on her eye which gave her intolerable pain and a big blue mark.

"Shehla why you didn't tell me and come here without discussing anything with us?" Aaqil and Mrs. Mirza both asked the same question.

"But why Tameem did this?" Aaqil asked and shehla stay silent on that Mrs Khan told that shehla wasn't informing anything to them too. After sometime Aaqil, Shahid and Mr. Khan become busy in discussion In another room but. Shehla was sitting silently between her mOther and mother-in-law

"Shehla tell me the reason" Mrs. Mirza asked.

"He wants me to abort our second child, I got ready for abortion last month but not this time" after all shehla broke her silence and both the ladies were shocked to know that Shehla took abortion pills on Tameem's demand to terminate her few weeks pregnancy, she did so because she wanted to live happily with her husband and she was thinking that might be her decision would make the relationship better between both of them.

"Why you didn't tell us that you were pregnant?" both ladies asked

"He said to hide from everyone, and I accepted just because I was trying to make some way to make our relationship better" Shehla informed and Mrs. Khan couldn't stop her anger to come out.

"Why your son is playing with my daughter's emotions and life? Which type of husband he is?" Mrs. Khan said to Mrs Mirza which hurt her ego... On the other hand Mr. Khan said to Aaqil and shahid to warn their brother to not beat Shehla again otherwise he won't send Shehla back to their home... But that too hurt the ego of Shahid and Aaqil.

No one ever dare to raise any question in front of Bade Mirza Sahab's family, but Tameem's behaviour towards Shehla made her parents restless and their questioning hurt Mirza family's ego.

They people took back Shehla to their home, and Scolded Tameem very much. Shahid and Aaqil both pout out all anger on Tameem because he was on fault. On one hand Tehseen and Nayla were more than happy with the happy news in thier life on the other side Tameem was hating his wife and unborn child more than anyone else

"Main na hi teri Shakal dekhna chahta hu na hi is bachhe ki..."

(Neither I wanna see your face nor this child's...)

''Subah subah mujhe apni Shakal mat dikhaya kar manhus mera pura din kharab jaata hai"

(You jinx don't show me your face early in the morning, my whole day goes unlucky)

These were the most common dialogue which Tameem use to say to his wife. And then shehla was use to go that.

"I'm not a jinx and I don't need any certificate from you to prove myself lucky..." She replied in egoistic way as usually.
